Timer Relays

A timer relay is a combination of an electromechanical output relay and a control circuit. Its contacts open or close before or after a preset time delay. Time‑delay relays can be initiated in two ways: by applying the input or auxiliary supply voltage, which either starts the timing function immediately or prepares the relay to be triggered, or by applying a separate trigger signal after the supply voltage is present. This trigger can be a control switch (dry contact) or a voltage signal.
